With a molecular weight of one million, our Mach Polymer sheet is the ideal selection for versatile applications in various climates, effectively bridging the gap between VHMW and UHMW. Its notably low coefficient of friction rivals that of PTFE and surpasses that of UHMW sheets, establishing it as a premier choice.
Mach Polymer can withstand temperatures up to 220°F, enhancing its applicability in different environments. The heat-resistant formulation results in a slightly denser natural hue, similar to other high-temperature materials.
Mach 1 UHMW-PE Applications
Applications for Mach 1 are in all industries where requirements include but are not limited to, wear parts, sliding parts, conveyor system parts, paddles, slides, guides, machined wear components, and FDA wear/sliding components.

Mach 1 replaces and outperforms UHMW for bulk material liners for Sawdust, Mulch, Wood chips, and other lightweight materials due to its extremely low co-efficient of friction. Soil, both wet and dry, as well as sand. sludge, manure and silage are also great applications to use Mach 1 as a lining panel or system. Outdoor applications benefit from using Mach1 as it expands and contracts much less than UHMW as well.
Essentially if you require sliding action with extremely low resistance and demand an extended service life to withstand abrasion and wear, then you have a perfect application for Mach 1.
About MACH 1 UHMW-PE
MACH 1 UHMW-PE (Super High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is characterized by a molecular weight of one million g/mol, it exhibits an exceptionally low coefficient of friction, is resistant to abrasion, and possesses self-lubricating properties. ​
Additionally, it demonstrates high impact strength, chemical resistance, compliance with FDA regulations, noise reduction capabilities, and is UV stabilized for outdoor applications.
The MACH 1 sheet is available in a singular finish, characterized by a smooth matte texture that preserves its slickness.
